About Ela Weber
Ela is a Lake Bracciano, Italy-based former model, showgirl, and actress. She moved to New York City in 1984 and began her career as a spokesmodel for Playtex. In the late 1980s, she relocated to Italy, where she became active in television as a showgirl and actress.
She gained wider recognition in Italy with minor roles in variety shows like Scherzi a parte and Stranamore. Her breakout role came in 1996 when she co-hosted the Canale 5 quiz show Tira e molla alongside Paolo Bonolis. She has appeared in films such as A spasso nel tempo (1996) and Uomini senza donne (1996). She has also participated in Italian reality TV, including Grande Fratello VIP 3.
Ela now lives in the countryside near Lago di Bracciano, north of Rome. She has lived there for several years with her husband, Andrea Bonacci (a former bodyguard), whom she married in 2009. She maintains a relatively low profile compared to her 1990sā2000s TV fame, though she stays active on her official Instagram (@ela_weber_official) and occasionally appears in Italian media or events.
